Annapurna Base Camp

9 day trek to Annapurna Base Camp was phenomenal, with the finale being Annapurna I Main peak standing 8091m tall, the tenth tallest mountain in the world.

Sunrise from Poonhill showed spectacular colors right at the peak of blue hour. We can see Annapurna range as well as Dhaulagiri range to the left in the panorama. Dhaulagiri I (8167m) is the 7th tallest mountain in the world.

Also few captures below of Machapuchare peak (6993m) taken from near Annapurna base camp. The highest peak is the most dominant mountain that can be seen all the way from Pokhara. Considered a holy mountain to the Nepalese, no one has been allowed to climb to the sumit.
